Welcome to the Heart of the Parkland. On behalf of Town Council it is my privilege to welcome you to the Gilbert Plains web site.

Gilbert Plains provides many attractions for a variety of age groups so if you are looking for a place to vacation, retire or relocate to, you will discover it all here in Gilbert Plains. Gilbert Plains offers an 18 hole Golf and Country Club, parks, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, fair & rodeo, cross country ski trails, a recreation complex ( curling and skating rink) etc. In addition to the many attractions and activities there is a strong and growing business sector.

Council meets the second Tuesday of each month to address the dynamic needs and interest of our community. The Town of Gilbert Plains Council is composed of 4 Councillors and a Mayor. Current Council includes: Deputy Mayor Winston Smith, Councillor James Dzuba, Councillor Curt Gullett and Councillor Walter Hyrchuck.
